Mini-Symposium at ICASP14

Dr. Muhammad Arslan Khan, Dr. Abdollah Malekjafarian & Prof. Eugene OBrien will host a Mini-Symposium at ICASP14, that will be held in Dublin, Ireland in 2023.

Di-RAIL is delighted to announce that Dr. Khan and Dr. Malekjafarian (in collaboration with Prof. OBrien) will be hosting a Mini-Symposium on the International Conference on Application of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering (ICASP14) that will be held in Dublin, Ireland.

Mini-symposium (MS) 12: “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Railway Infrastructure Condition Monitoring”

This symposium aims to collect and share high-quality research on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for railway infrastructure monitoring. AI and Machine learning techniques have recently shown to be feasible approaches for structure monitoring that create models of neural network and trained them to detect changes in the railway components. We welcome papers that encompass all the components of railway infrastructure that may require continuous monitoring for sustaining operations, including the track quality, sleepers’ condition, railway bridges, ballast removal, train loadings and more.

Submissions are currently open, and due on the end of August.
